We have a wide range of coffins available sourced from renewable and sustainable sources. Our selection of veneered coffins, willow coffins, cardboard coffins, to a coffin designed by yourself and perhaps depicting a football team colours, trains, flowers, cars, animals and can also include scripture, the list is endless.

We have a beautiful private chapel of rest where your loved one will stay until the day of the funeral. We are able to offer a horse drawn hearse and mourners carriage for a very traditional funeral. The teams are fully liveried and are either black or white horses.

We are frequently asked when a funeral is arranged to request donations in memory of the deceased rather than flowers.  As part of our service we coordinate the collection of donations on behalf of the family and in due course when the collection is completed forward on the donations to the charity with a copy and any letters received with the donations forwarded on to the family.  Therefore a record is kept both with the charity and the family.

	A memorial or headstone is a lasting symbol of remembrance and a traditional way of paying tribute to a relative or friend who has died. This final gift that you will give to the person you love and miss so dearly, must be perfect in every way. With careful consideration, advice, and from the designs we have available in our showroom and brochure it is possible for this to be achieved.

Headstones are available in a variety of shapes and sizes, and can be personalized by adding etchings or photographs with the inscription. Kerb Sets and larger memorials permission can be obtained to erect a kerb set or larger memorial on a grave in a churchyard or cemetery. Cremation Tablets are generally smaller in size often flat and can be placed where either cremated remains have been scattered or buried. Marble – is a traditional material perhaps more suited to an ornamental memorial with its white/blue colouring and few imperfections.

Stone – this is more generally used in churchyards where granite and marble are not allowed. With options of Portland, York or Nabresina stone to choose from which comes in a light buff/cream colour
Granite – there is a wide variety of colours to choose and each being uniquely different, and with timeless beauty will endure the elements without deteriorating.

Renovation of Existing Memorials we are able to restore an existing memorial to its original elegance with specialist cleaning, attention to detail and perhaps re carving, or leading of inscription and design.

Additional inscription we can uplift an existing memorial for which an additional inscription is required, my craftsmen are able to often replicate the existing lettering using traditional and modern techniques.

Subsided or leaning memorials time can take its toll on an existing memorial causing the memorial to move and lean. We are able to inspect the memorial and raise and level it, making it safe and restoring the memorial to its former glory.

All memorials which we remove to either allow for a new burial to take place, or to carry out renovation work are carefully stored in a safe environment.

Pets play a large and important role in our lives, and for many they are a companion and a friend. When the death of a much loved pet comes it can be hugely traumatic, and the owner may wish for a ceremony to mark the passing of their pet.

Over the years we have established a service for our clients whereby we maintain the grave of their loved one in their absence. Perhaps they have moved away from the area or even abroad or for personal reasons such as health are no longer able to visit the grave.

Anniversaries and Birthdays are dutifully recorded by us to ensure that the grave is tended with fresh flowers on that special day in the year. At Christmas time we put holly wreaths on graves as well as fresh flowers, or perhaps you would like spring bulbs planted, or other seasonal plants planted throughout the year.

Because Anniversaries and Birthdays are important dates of remembrance, for your peace of mind we take a photograph of the grave with the flowers on, which is then forwarded onto you either by email or post. With this record of a lovingly cared for grave you now have peace of mind and less of worry knowing that all is in good order, and the grave is as you would have wanted to keep it yourself, were you able to do so.

Additionally we can carry out memorial maintenance which includes cleaning, renovation work, and levelling the memorial etc.
